After beginning production on building eight large (16.5” bore) custom cylinders for a semi-submersible oil platform mooring system, the customer added a critical material requirement for toughness (Charpy Impact). JARP quickly responded and expedited new materials where needed. JARP coordinated its supply chain, in house processing, and strategic outside processing partnerships to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery requirements were met. This project was reviewed, surveyed, inspected, and certified approved by a 3rd party agency, Det Norske Veritas (DNV). JARP also project managed the 3rd party activity in addition to coordinated surveys with JARP's customer's quality representatives.
Upon project completion, even after overcoming the customer's project changes and resulting delays, the cylinders arrived fully tested at the customer's facility with time to spare before the customer needed to test the complete system including the cylinders.
